Rockall

Dansk Danish version Deutsch

Deutsch ausgabe
In the morning of the 28th June 1904 the Danish DFDS steamer SS Norge rammed an unidentified object in the waters of Rockall. Rockall lies in the Atlantic Ocean about 280 miles off the nearest coast of the United Kingdom and is the most isolated rock in the world. Rising only 20 meters above the surface and no more than 100 meters in circumference Rockall is also one of the tiniest places in the world. In this remote place of the world the SS Norge found its final resting place.
