- DGPS - high precision positioning
- The present location of the wrecks will be determined by using the DGPS navigational system.
- Survey methods
- The survey of the wrecks will be done using state of the art technology such as plain echo sounder systems, multi-beam echo sounder, magnetometer and side scan sonar.
- Dive explorations
- When a wreck has been located and the needed survey has been performed, the wreck will be explored by the diving team. The divers primary tasks is to bring back photo and video footage from the wreck and to make observations which will be used to establish identity, confirm survey information and to gather other relevant information.
